Costamula Ristorante e Maso storico

The Costamula Maso, built in 1608 is one of the oldest and interesting historic Maso of the Val Gardena, and is protected by the institution of fine arts for its quality and uniqueness.

After a 2 year demanding renovation, to keep intact the suggestive original interiors, like the "Stube" and kitchen, in December 2012 a restaurant within its wall was opened, said by many to be the most alluring in the Dolomities.

The Maso Costamula is situated 2 kilometres above Ortesei, in a sunny position with a panoramic view, close to the famous ski slope "La Longia", that from Seceda goes to Ortisei, easily to reach also by car.

A journey of wine and food at Ristorante Costamula, a leap into the past, in an authentic medieval atmosphere; the antique walls bestow to the rustic ambience of the "Stube" an incredible romantic charm, unique of its type, where the past lives again in the present.

The cuisine, between traditional local dishes and contemporary taste, is a true delight to the palate, for the joy of every gourmet.

The cellar excavated in the porphyry rock, offers a prudent choice of typical local wines, first rate Italian wines and sparkling Italian wines.
